blues and reds

At this time of year in Lewes, blues and reds mean only one thing: two different sorts of bangers (fire crackers) that are set off on Bonfire night. My most recent shoot at Glynde seemed to be dominated by blues and reds of a different sort: the blue doors of the new fridge against the red light of the heat lamp; newly laid red bricks in a courtyard sitting below the grey/blue/green of old mossy stones; that beautiful red wall that appeared a few months ago, now reunited with the carved wooden banisters that have been covered with protective plywood for months.
