Love Supreme is a festival of jazz and soul music deep in the Sussex countryside. In fact, it takes place at the beautiful Glynde Place, the very same Glynde Place that I photographed for 18 months while it underwent extensive restorations. Sweeping fields are ringed with the green hills of the Downs, the stately manor house overlooking it all. This is day one of two days using my photo pass to the fullest extent, doing my best to cover acts in all the venues: the Main Stage, the Arena, the Big Top and the band stand. Highlights included Laura Mvula, Jamie Cullum, Earth Wind and Fire Experience with Al McKay, Incognito and Snarky Puppy, plus John Scofield, Dave Holland, Natalie Williams and Nikki Yanofsky. Local Brighton bands The E.M.E. and Normanton Street performed in the atmospheric Bandstand. Blog post coming soon with more information.
