wedding brochure, designed…

I have finished my friend Annie’s brochure for her bridal hair company. She wanted a collage with stylish, atmospheric bits and pieces on it. So I took out my trusty scanner, borrowed some old lace from a friend and went to work. Annie had given me a photograph of one of her brides to use, so I piled the scanner with lace, jewellery, an old key, a photo of a rose and the bride. I wanted to get an effect of the lace and objects sitting on top of the photograph and surrounding the model’s face. It took a long time to get right. It was very hard to get the lace to frame the bride’s face in the right way, and get the other objects to look balanced and not out of place. I was pleased when I finally got it the way I wanted it, and even more pleased when Annie said she loved it.
