Lewes architect Nicola Furner needed photographs of her newly-renovated Edwardian house for an upcoming magazine feature. She has created a light and airy living space by adding a modern kitchen and loft extension to her traditional Arts and Crafts-period house, from where her architecture practice is also based. Nicola’s emphasis is on sourcing local suppliers for feature items, including the colourful chair in the kitchen from Elizabeth Rose Studio, upholstered with fabric designed by local artist Suzie Johanson. I photographed Elizabeth Rose’s beautiful furniture with a backdrop of the unfinished UTC@harbourside last year. Photos can be found here.
