I have been photographing the renovations of this Tudor manor in the centre of Lewes over the past year. The work is now complete and the building is ready to be a registry office once again. I got a sneak preview yesterday to photograph it and was amazed by the changes. It is a beautiful wedding venue. There are two sumptuous wedding rooms and a hall available for community use on the ground floor. Upstairs, there is a glamorous room reserved for brides to use. I think the Country Council have done an excellent job at restoring this well-loved building so that it can be opened up once again for the community to use. The registry part of the building has a new oak staircase and a lift, finally making the building accessible to all.
