This is the latest batch of my photographs from the Depot Cinema in Lewes, where a disused industrial depot is being renovated and transformed into a community cinema. After six weeks away I was excited to see the interior rooms slowly becoming enclosed as the building takes shape. I can begin to imagine how the spaces will work and connect with each other.
I began this project over a year ago (first shoot can be found here). The Cinema has hired me to document the restoration process. They use my photographs to inform local residents and film buffs about the progress being made.
More information about this project and all previous shoots can be found here.
