a bit like modern art

Things are really progressing at Glynde. A few months ago, I had to be very careful at every step because there were so many floor boards either broken or taken out, and other hazards underfoot. Although I still need to take care, it is no longer common to look down at my feet and be able to see right through to the floor below. On my last visit, I was surprised to see the first painters in, starting to decorate the finished rooms. On today’s visit, ceilings were being lined with lining paper, and there were obviously decisions to be made over wall colours. I loved the big bright colour squares I came across in a number of rooms.
