Glynde Place: bursting with colour

Posted by carlotta on Sunday June 16th, 2013 at 1:48pm

I have been looking through my Glynde photos, making a selection to submit for a show. When I first finished the project in January, I thought it would be interesting to present groups of the photos by theme, though the only one I got around to was a blog post of visual jokes.

During the 18 months that I was photographing Glynde Place, I felt so lucky to be surrounded by interesting, and often surprising, colours. Some of these colours came from the building materials. Some came from old paint that was newly revealed or new paint that was being applied. Sometimes it came from the deep orange light of the heat lamps. So, this group of photographs is about colour.
