photography teachers

I was so pleased to hear recently from a former photography teacher. I took a great class with Beatrice Haverich a couple of years ago that focused on developing a project. It was through her class that I put together my book of photos of the house on Sun Street – book that has been very helpful in getting me work. After I sent Beatrice a link to my new website, she got in touch to ask if I would give a talk and slide show to her advanced photography class. She wants me to talk about my inspirations and how I go about developing projects. I usually try to avoid public speaking if at all possible, but I am actually looking forward to Thursday’s talk. I feel like it will give me an opportunity to try to put into words what I have been working on over the past couple of years.
