Sussex village wedding

A few weeks ago I photographed a lovely intimate wedding. The ceremony was in the venerable old Lewes Town Hall followed by a reception in the Ram Inn, a perfect example of a village pub. The village of Firle is a few miles from Lewes, deep in the South Downs countryside. As is typical of a Saturday afternoon in May, the cricket team were preparing for a match. We couldn’t resist getting a shot of the happy couple on the cricket pitch. Luckily for us the team happily obliged our whim. More photographs from this day can be found here.
