Although we are very lucky in Lewes in escaping the flooding that has effected many other parts of the country, we still have been battered by atrocious weather. In a rare glimpse of sunshine yesterday afternoon, I ran down to the river with my camera in hand. I relished in the glistening afternoon sunlight and felt drawn down into the depths of a surreal, watery, upside-down world.
