The wonderful Lewes-based So Last Century stringband needed photographs to promote their gigs and for their upcoming EP. For the first shoot, I sat in on one of their rehearsals. What a pleasure it was for me, even though I had to stand on a wobbly piano bench to get them all in the shot. The second shoot was in the local nature reserve in Lewes, amongst the reeds and on a funny little bridge that doesn’t really go anywhere. Their old-time music was so infectious that I could not stop my foot from tapping while I was photographing.
