group portrait

I have a friend who lives around the corner in a small sheltered accommodation unit of about 12 residents. The private company who owns the facility have decided to maximise their investment by selling off the units to private buyers. This means that the present occupants have been asked to leave – quickly, and maybe not quite legally. They are being found new accommodation, but in far-flung parts of East Sussex. It is a real shame, as I can understand it. This has become a close group of friends which is soon to be split up. In fact, by now I think there are only a couple of residents left. My friend asked me to come round and photograph the group before they disbanded so they would have a memento of their home and friends.
