Hobnobbing. Well, not quite.

I have just spent the afternoon taking pictures for the Lewes District Council. They needed photographs of the launch of an apprenticeship scheme. The great and the good were there: a District Councillor, the District Council Chief Executive and even our MP. Most of my time was spent photographing people tucking in to a buffet lunch while networking, then listening to panels of speakers. So not the most interesting of subject matters. But I had a moment when Norman Baker, MP, had just arrived and was being welcomed by Cllr Rob Blackman. Mr Baker had a cold and they were sharing a joke about his being hoarse (or rather, horse, in reference to the horse meat scandal). I was pleased to be able to capture the brief moment.
