crazy about chocolate

Visiting Cocoa Loco was one of the most tempting and hunger-inducing experiences of all the shoots I have been on photographing local food producers. The smell of chocolate permeated the entire building and great vats of melted chocolate – dark, milk and white – churned away along the edges of the room. It being just weeks before Easter, there were chocolate chickens, eggs and bunnies everywhere, ranging from huge to tiny. The self-restraint of the workers amazed me. If I worked there, I don’t know if I could have resisted dipping my finger into the melted lusciousness. I asked one of the workers if they got sick of chocolate, thinking that would explain their restraint. She said no, she never gets sick of it. What a lovely place to work.
