Architectural Documentary
For me, architectural documentary photography should create a visual narrative that turns a building’s renovation into a compelling story. More than high-end marketing collateral, my architectural photographs are routinely used as exhibition pieces, many on permanent display, inviting local communities to engage with the human stories behind a project.
My photographs of architecture are created with an artist’s eye for the built world and a professional sensibility attuned to the people within that world’s dynamic environments.
My images are made with a dedication to the highest standards of photographic quality and creative representation. They capture the essence of history and activity with pictures that are elegant, sometimes edgy, always thought provoking. Past projects include Brighton Dome Corn Exchange redevelopment and The Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust renovation.
“Carlotta has been able to reflect every stage of the building development as a work of art, creating a useful promotional tool for us and helping to build local excitement around the project. She has an incredible eye for detail and spotting the unusual.” – Carmen Slijpen, Creative Director, Depot Cinema
