Architectural Documentary

My architectural photography creates a visual narrative that turns a building’s renovation into a compelling story.

Designed to creatively document the evolution of a build, my photographs provide a historical record, superior marketing collateral and a showcase for architects and designers.

My deep appreciation for the built environment stems from my Master’s Degree in Urban Design. Understanding how people interact with exterior and interior spaces allows me to bring an architect’s vision to life. By making regular site visits across all seasons I use light and landscape to frame the story of the building: its history, the process of its transformation, and its future.

Carlotta has been able to reflect every stage of the building development as a work of art, creating a useful promotional tool for us and helping to build local excitement around the project.” – Carmen Slijpen, Creative Director, Depot Cinema

“Carlotta Luke captures both the beauty and the emotion with every shot. Having worked alongside Carlotta for over a year I quickly got to understand how she views a space differently and manages to skilfully capture the atmosphere perfectly.” – Neil Onions, Development Manager, Stephen Lawrence Charitable Trust

Carlotta’s involvement has been invaluable in documenting the essence of the site’s historical past. Carlotta’s work brings a whole new dimension to project documentation by making you feel part of that journey from old to new.” – Alfonso Padro, HKS Architect, UTC@harbourside
